At Tresidder, whilst we call ourselves insurance brokers, broking is the last part of an involved process; we think of risk first and insurance second.
Clearly identifying and mitigating risks is the foundation. Making deliberate choices of which risks to carry and which to insure is secondary to great risk management. This requires global reach and a willingness to invest the time and effort to seek out the right solutions for our clients.
Every client and every industry is different. Our team of risk specialists work with our clients to understand in detail and share our industry expertise to develop a shared understanding of the true risks. This helps to inform the client’s decision making on risk management and which risks to take to the insurance market.
Armed with a great understanding of the client’s risks, we support our clients by designing their insurance programme to optimise coverage and cost and by approaching the right markets and insurers who we know best understand the type of risk the client faces.
We pride ourselves on having the reach directly into international markets, as well as sourcing more specialist insurers to meet our clients’ more specialist requirements.
The proof of great insurance design and broking is whether the insurer responds appropriately when the need to claim arises. At Tresidders, we work to ensure our clients fully understand and can have confidence in how their insurance programme will respond in the event of a claim. When a claim event does happen, we have a dedicated specialist claims team. We manage routine claims on your behalf, minimising the distraction of claims for our clients’ executives.
When a major claim event occurs, Tresidders and our team of claims management specialists are on site within hours, working along side our clients, to manage the early ‘crisis’ stages of an event. Our support continues through to the full reinstatement of operating capacity and the payment of claims.
